Dogsledding

It took me a little while to figure out what was preventing me from posting more pictures. But we're up and running now with some photos from our recent trip to Montana. Kem's eye caught a brochure of a guy who offers dogsledding trips. He has over 100 dogs and builds his own sleds. 300 lbs of fish and chicken a day to feed them all. Here they are lining up to take us for a ride (40 paw power).

The dogs were remarkably fast and strong pulling three of us up hills, around corners and through the soft stuff. They ran for about 10 miles.

This was our view from the sled

The lead dogs waiting for commands from their master. They were thrilled at the opportunity to run and go to work.
