Birthday weekend

We had the rare luxury of a weekend off together and made a trip to the other side of the Cascades. We were playing with a fisheye lens that provides some very interesting distortion and an incredibly wide angle of view.








Even though the main subject (Kem) was only a few feet away, she looks quite small in the image.













Looking skyward, the trees seemingly bend to fit in the frame.
