Sight seeing in California

We visited Ano Nuevo State Park with Shanti to watch the elephant seals. Here were a bunch of "wieners" bathing in the sun. They are youngsters wiened from their mothers. They have been abandoned by their mothers who are now exhausted after feeding their offspring milk that is an impressive 60% fat.

This is the Neptune Pool from Hearst Castle. Unfortunately, the pool was drained to do some maintenance. Even without the perfect blue water, you can still appreciate the gorgeous architecture designed by Julia Morgan.

We also made it to the Getty Museum to take in some art. Here is a Roman marble sculpture of Venus dating from 100-200 AD
