Portland Japanese Gardens

I'm still having problems with the blogger so I cannot post all my pictures. I did manage to get this shot up from a trip to the Japanese Gardens yesterday. I am of course drawn to the koi lazily enjoying the serene beauty of the gardens.








This is a wide angle shot from the inside of a large weeping Japanese Maple. I have always loved the tortured twisted branches covered by the wonderfully soft and feathery foliage.
